Carol Walkner
A sales and marketing executive, writer, and teacher for more than 40 year, Carol is a trained and accomplished public speaker, workshop leader and group facilitator. Her business articles appear regularly in trade journals, and her poetry and stories are printed in magazines, journals, and online publications. Certified to teach writing through Women Writing For (a) Change, Carol facilitates therapeutic writing circles for nurses, social workers, caregivers and women. She also works with the elderly to encourage the documentation of personal legacies. Carol holds a B.A. in Journalism from Drake University and an M.A. in Expressive Arts Therapy from St. Mary’s University.
